The Olympics of ham radio. Welcome to the fastest-paced, most exhausting championship you’ve never heard of: The World Radiosport Team Championship. In July 2014, teams from forty countries set up their radios on randomly drawn, remote sites outside Boston, Massachusetts. They have 24 hours to make contact—by voice or morse code—with as many fellow operators as they can. The more countries reached, the more points earned; the team with the most points wins.
